The sourness of the lemon, the relishing flavour of mint leaves along with the mild heat from the ginger is an awesome combination to enjoy each sip of the energy drink. This lemonade is not only refreshing but also an energetic drink comprising loads of healthiness within it.
I used to make this drink at least thrice a week even during non-summer days as we stick to the tangy taste of the drink. So, the health plus tasty drink is here what I wanna post as because it is much needed now to strengthen our immune system.

So, the refreshing mint leaves, throat soothing ginger and the tangy scenting lemon are the three main heroes in this drink which when comes together would amaze our palate with no questions. One of the favourite drink among my kid's favourites which she used to enjoy and lip-smack on each sip.
The health profile doesn't deviate from lending the benefits, not even a single bit, as we use the ingredients raw. One more important thing is that I use the skin of lemon for this recipe which gives the intense flavour to the drink which makes it remarkable all the time.

What to Use?
- Mint leaves - a handful
- Fresh ginger root - 1-inch piece
- Lemon juice - 3 tbsp (or juice of one big lemon)
- Lemon wedge - a small piece (or lemon zest-1 tsp)
- Jaggery powder - 5 tbsp or Organic honey - 5 to 6 tbsp
- Water - 4 cups

Immunity boosting and refreshing summer drink prepared with the mint leaves, fresh ginger root & lemon sweetened with jaggery or honey.
Steps Involved: |
- Take a large mixer jar.
- Add the handful of washed mint leaves to the mixer.
- Add chopped fresh ginger root to the mixer.
- Add in the squeezed lemon juice and the lemon wedge (or lemon zest) to the mixer.
- Add jaggery powder to the mixer.
- Grind all the ingredients well without adding any water.
- Now, add a little water and grind well.
- Add the remaining water to the ground ingredients.
- Filter the Ginger Mint lemonade to filter out the residue.
- Enjoy the intense flavours of the lemonade in each sip.

Step-by-Step Procedure with Pictures
How to Make?
- Segregate the mint leaves from the stem and wash well. Add the handful of washed mint leaves to the mixer jar.
- Peel off the skin of 1-inch fresh ginger root and chop it roughly. Add the chopped ginger root to the mixer jar.
- Squeeze the juice from the lemon and make it ready to add. Add 3 tablespoons (or juice from one big lemon) to the mixer jar.
- Cut a small wedge from a lemon and add it to the mixer jar. Alternatively, you can add a teaspoon of lemon zest (outer yellow layer of the lemon skin). I add a lemon wedge here. Don't skip this step as it gives a unique taste and intensifies the scenting lemon flavour (based on my experience!).
- Finally, add the jaggery powder to the mixer jar. Jaggery pairs well with the main heroes of this drink. You could use organic honey as a substitute.
- Grind the ingredients well with no water.
- Add a half cup of water now to the mixer jar.
- Now, add the remaining water (3 1/2 cups of water).
- Transfer the drink to a strainer and filter out the residue.
