Jump to Recipe How to make Ice Apple Gulkand Matka Kulfi with Jaggery | Nungu Gulkand Malai Kulfi recipe | Nungu Matka Kulfi with detailed snaps and step-by-step procedure. What else could be the best body coolant in this scorching summer more than the Ice apples and Gulkand (Rose Petal Jam)? Think of those natural jellies and the body-cooling homemade Gulkand getting indulged into a Malai Kulfi. Wow! It's amazing, right?! The taste would undoubtedly stand out of the world. I don't recommend buying Gulkand from stores as most of the brands are preserving rose petals in sugar. If buying from the shop, please make sure the petals are soaked up in honey. The best option is to make the homemade Gulkand for which the recipe is available in two versions in Packthesnack. Please refer to my Homemade Gulkand post.  Also, we make our khoya to make the Malai which is instant and easy. For making homemade khoya, we use unsweetened milk powder. Coriander-Mint dip

The coriander-mint dip is perfect for any fritter kind of spicy snack, an adorable side dish for grilled meats, a spread for rolls and sandwiches, and it works great for all chaats. This simple dip needs just a mixer to grind all the raw herbs and spices. An easy Indian style dip, sure to be done in less than 5 minutes, could do unbelievable magic in most dishes.

With the raw flavor of coriander-mint leaves and the spiciness of green chilies, this green dip would be punchy with little lime juice, cumin seeds, salt and a piece of ginger.

See Masala Bread Sandwich recipe to know the little magic of this dip.

How to Make?
  • Wash both the coriander and mint leaves in a bowl of water.
  • Add washed greens along with cumin seeds, green chilies, and ginger to the mixer.
  • Run the mixer for 10 seconds.
  • Now add lime juice, salt and little water to the mixture and grind until the smooth chutney consistency is achieved.

Tips:
  • Grinding all the ingredients together ( just like I do) would make no change in the dip outcome. Well, it reduces time consumption pretty well.
  • You could do this dip without ginger, but I recommend ginger to get a perfect dip.
  • Washing greens in the running water could wash the nutrients away. Just wash them in a big bowl of water.
Happy Dipping!
